Trapinch is a Pokemon from 3rd generation (Ruby/ Sapphire/ Emerald) and is the pre-evolved form of Vibrava. Trapinch is loosely based on the pit ant, who waits at the bottom of a sand hole for other insects to fall in, feasting on unfortunate victims.
